Head of SEA (f/m/d)

1&1 Ionos is looking for an experienced Head of SEA with the objective of enhancing and driving all our international SEA activities. Leading a team of currently 4 team members and with a budget in the double digit millions, the role will own the responsibility for all international markets. The role acts as a thought leader within the IONOS marketing organization and drives innovation for the online business. In detail the vacant position entails the following core Tasks:

• Lead the international SEA team.
• Build out the overall paid search strategy.
• Driving customer inflow, traffic and Revenue-In through best performing SEA campaigns.
• Management and strategic development of SEA campaigns for all markets and products / segments (in close alignment with the product and country units).
• Plan, manage and evaluate all SEA activities for 1&1 IONOS with focus on Customer Net Growth.
• Close alignment and collaboration with all relevant internal partner within 1&1 IONOS and United Internet Group.

Having previously worked at a leading tech and / or consumer product company or a top notch agency with outstanding successes in SEA, the Head of SEA will own the complete responsibility and be the go-to-person for all paid search topics. You need to be performance driven and be able to align the interests and views of all key stakeholders. You are a self starter, possesses a high level of intrinsic motivation and entrepreneurial drive. You are curious and love to explore innovations and new technologies.

• Multi-year experience within SaaS, e-commerce, the Webhosting / Domain, IaaS or any online industry with subscription model.
• Strong foundation in metric-driven online marketing campaigns with accountability for ROI.
• Passionate leader and entrepreneur, ability to motivate teams (influencing also within informal responsibility, stakeholder management) and drive change.
• Strong skills in rapid and nimble execution as well as permanently developing and re-shaping efficient processes.
• Manager with Can-Do and Self-Starter Attitude, Negotiation Skills and assertiveness.
• Fluent in English and German, experienced in working in an international environment.
• Experience managing a double digit million online marketing budget across multiple platforms.
